Did a search on the 450 here and found that some advised making cases from the 6.5-284 or 284 Win parent cartridge. Factory cartridges have small rifle primer pockets and some use SR Mag primers or the hot Winchester WSR. Using the preferred Lil'Gun powder (<40gr charges) in the modified parent with Large Rifle primers doesn't seem right. I know that it operates at the pistol pressure of 40,000, but I'd sure like some input. There are no Hornady cases available right now, so I'm getting a good deal on some ammo.
