.450 adams ? belgian revolver loads 1878 and before

Has anyone had any experience loading this obscure antique round,I think the bore is .457,so I can use 255 gr cowboy bullets,ive heard about 20 gr 3f, the original bp load had a mv of only 620 fps.:confused:
 
You use about 1/2 of a case of 3fg under that Remington 255'er. I use a cut down Fiocchi 455 case as a scoop.

If you want, next time, I can weigh it for you but its pathetic, as is its velocity, but in my James Dalziel Dougall Webley-Pryce it shoots to poa.

By the way, you cant even get close to 20 grains in a Webley case. If ya could that would blow your Belgian:eek:

I know its a gallery round,and probably very accurate,good fer small varmints at close range maybe?whats your best mv?:cool:
