To those of you who have played with the .45 Super:

How does the .45 Super differ in point of impact compared to .45 ACP loads of the same bullet weight? Does it require adjustable sights? Thanks for the info.

POI is generally going to be a little lower due to the higher velocity. The most extreme example is the 165 gr bullet which was 3-4" low.

If you're going to stick to one weight bullet then fixed sights would be fine, but if you want to play with all the variations adjustables might be nice.

I am mostly interested in the 230 grain bullet. It would be nice to have 230 grain Hydra-Shocks for defense, cheap hardball for practice, and Triton 230 Grain Supers for a woods/outdoor cartridge. It would be VERY nice if they hit somewhere close to the same POI.... But I'm not holding my breath. Although this does give me a REAL good excuse to buy a USP....
