.45 Super in the CZ 97?

I've just this past week received 500 rounds of .45 Super brass from Starline, most of which I'll form into .400 Cor-bon. I've e-mailed Fernando, at Triton, to get his opinion as to whether my factory Glock 21 barrel, with heavier recoil spring, will handle .45 Super loads. I haven't heard from him yet, but he's pretty good about responding to e-mail.

You might want to e-mail him. Check out the Triton website and you'll find his e-mail address.

Over at Gt, there was a thread that said that it couldn't be done (at least at the time). I don't know how the frame will hold up, but I think the crucial part is having a barrel with less unsupported chamber, which may now be available.

Try e-mailing CZ, they are pretty good about getting back to you. Try the link HS has established for CZ owners in another thread. It links you directly to real Czechs, and not the dimwits I've talked to across the river in KCK. They don't answer e-mail last I sent any, but the Czechs do.
