J Jim Watson New member Nov 28, 2004 #2 All that is required is that your dies size the brass enough (and don't expand it too much) to get a friction fit on the bullet. You cannot crimp a loose bullet tight. Then it will load and shoot normally. Accuracy? Try it out.

M mete New member Nov 28, 2004 #3 Originally the 45 Colt was .454". Today it's the same as the 45acp. But with both the jacketed are .451 and the cast .452".
