Just Saturday I put a deposit down on a Taurus Tracker in 45lc and a 4" barrel.
The fit is very good and the finish is Taurus bead blasted, not bad for a hunting gun with some Home Defense for the rest of the time.
The trigger is just like my 357 tracker smooth with a little stacking but heavier. I think with a little dryfiring and some rounds thru it it should smooth up to where my 357 is.
I wanted the 6" barrel but this gun in 45lc is actually a little smaller than a S&W 686 4" at the shop and it is lighter. so I am figuring it will work as a white tail gun along with some ccw if I can find the right holster.
I wonder what it would cost to make it a little more ccw friendly
1) bob the barrel to remove the porting
2) lower the front sight, with night sight, make the rear lower and semi fixed
3) bob the hammer halfway
4) duty type action job
