I have a chance to get either a Taurus Tracker in 45 acp with a 6" barrel really felt nice but 5 shots
nib with five of the new stellar clips $430

or a S&W 625 - 2 i think a 5 in barrel and 6 shots plus about 30 new moon clips and a demooner and a cheapy nylon holster for $480

would either of these handle inferquent use of 45 Super. I would like to get a 1911 one of these days and since PA does not allow autos for hunting I would like to get one or the other to shoot 45acp for practice and plinking and 45 supers for hunting.

I know but I don't have the cash for a 460 rowland, besides then you have to use moon clips for acp's.

Finally the Sn of the 625 is bdg31xx, what is the manufacturing date

Greeting's Fess,

I don't have an answer regarding the use of .45 Super's,
in either gun; but I'm here to tell ya' both LOOK like nice
weapons. My preference would lie in barrel length,
as I have become a 5" fan.:D With that said, I would go
with the Smith; and hope in the future that I could afford
the Taurus Tracker.*:)

* This weapon could be the marquee test for old' Ala Dan?

OBTW I have a 6 in Taurus Tracker and a 4 in S&W Mod 66 Combat Magnum
I like both and the company politics and policies are not an issue here

I hate the agreement.
