I am awe struck by Dan Wessons 7445 AGS. The only problem is that I dont feel I have enough reloading experience to produce 100% safe .445supermag ammunition, as it is an expert load to produce. I have found one online producer of .445sm ammo, but thats all. I know this is a 99.9% reloaded only cartridge, however I would like to know if anyone has found more factory loads for this cartridge. No matter what I will get her because of the versatility of also being able to fire 44mag and 44spl ammuntition as well. Thanks for the help ladies and gents. :D

You Are Underestimating Your Capabilities, Sir.

If you can handload one straight sided cartridge you can load 'em all. I's just a matter of having the right dies, brass, bullets, primers, and foomfodder.

Pale,

You kind of explained the delemma, with a "what do I do?" ending to it.
I'd almost guarantee that to get the most from your gun, you're going to have to take up some kind of handloading of it. It's not magic really, and for the person considering it, it can be a little unnerving, but I wouldn't hesitate.

Once started, you'll find that it's really nothing more than being careful and adhereing to the books and manuals available. I've been handloading, and casting/swaging my own for the last 35 yrs. I started under the watchful eye of my uncle, but it was very temporary, and I was on my own before I knew it.
I'll be getting the .445 Super in a T/C barrel soon, but I'm also well equipped to "roll my own".
If you opt to buy from the source you mentioned, you're very limited, and whether it shoots great, or poorly, your at the mercy of the load.

Give it a try.......I think that you'll find it's very easy & rewarding.

Take care,
Bob
