I'd like to hear from anyone who's actualy shot the gun with them on. I'm thinking about a set of Spegal's I saw. I realize felt recoil will probably increase but is it by a dramatic rate? Right now I have the Hogue grip on it but would like something different. Thanks in advance.

Ouch.
I have them on my mountain gun.
Full house loads are unpleasant to say the least.

I ma considering switching stocks but the selection is limited.

I have tried them on a 629 and it is not fun. Also pretty tough to control with full power ammo! Won't be using them on my Mtn gun.

Round butt to Square on my .44Mtn.Gun

I have a set of Ajax Rosewood conversion grips, smooth
w/fingergrooves, and they give a very nice hold. They are also prices about 1/2 of the competition....dewey
...Forgot to mention they also have a nice palm swell.

I have a set of the Eagle grips and they are just fine, except with the romper stomper loads. I suspect that in an emergency that I would never notice. You just have to get used to shooting the gun with these grips.Normal magnum loads are not a problem.
