.44 Henry rimfire ammo

Anybody know a source of this stuff? I don't have one, but a priest friend knows someone who does.

As I recall, Old Western Scrounger has had .44 rimfire in the past, 'though does not list it now. A call or email may be worthwhile

What would you shoot it in? It seems like it would be a real fun round to play with.

All I would want is one cartridge to display with a rifle. But as to your question as to what someone would shoot it in, and it cerntainly isn't me, there is a person who shoots a Henry 1860. My Priestly friend knows an Indian whose g-g-g-g-g-grandfather (plus or minus a few generations) has a Henry that was taken from a soldier in California during the Civil War. Figures that Californians couldn't hold onto their guns back then either. Anyhow, there's some ammunition from the original capture and the descendent shoots the Henry once a year.
