416 Taylor

Dear Shooters:
My computer "blew-up" and I'm on a 1997 DELL now - but it works.
My 416 Taylor building on a Turkish Mauser action worked perfectly; just a few strokes on the rails and it fed like butter!
Fired five (5) full power loads, no set-back, everything smooth - can't wait to get it in a BOYD Warner Varmiter stock!
Tested in Mauser stock with steel but-plate with a "sissy-bag" between but and shoulder - A. O. K!
Just a big shove - beautiful performance.
Anyone considering it is advised that it is an easy conversion, easy on the shoulder and loads of power. Thanks Harry B.

I have been interested to the 416 Taylor for obvious reasons. I would like to hear more details. My last Mauser experience was 50 years ago with a 8x57 which cost less than $20. I had lots of fun with that rifle and learned a lot.

Thank you in advance.
