This is an easy way for shooters and manufacturers to promote solidarity.

I've been thinking of getting set up for reloading 40 caliber. I wonder if Dillion and Montana Gold Bullet will sell me dies and supplies in .40 Liberty?

Does this sound like a good idea? Whos with me?

I like it! .40 has been my favorite caliber for some time now. Duty load, PD, IPSC, and IDPA. .40 Liberty it is :) Now I just have to find a way to tell my wife about all the money I just spent on Hi-Cap magazines for my .40 Liberty Para LDA ;)

Recently bought a Glock 23C. What a fantastic gun. .40 Liberty it is. Boycott all Smith&Wesson products! Now if I can just get rid of my S&W 9mm.

ruger has printed .40 auto on all it's pistols in that caliber for some time.

I just shorten it to .40.
I just dont acknowledge the S&W involvment.

Since the .40 was developed as a model of the 10MM FBI Load - we could call it the .40 FBI...

Actually, .40 Auto sits right with me, although the word "Liberty" will always get my vote. Tough choices...If only everything were dependent on a name change.
