400 corbon questions? Easy to convert?

Can you just add the conversion barrel and thats it?
Do you need to change springs and or have the guns modified like for .45 super? I'm very interested in trying this out in my P220 and I hope its that simple.
 
I have a govt model that I converted and it works great. A good friend has a Sig 220 and his works fine. We just changed the barrels. I guess if I were gonna shoot it a lot with the full power stuff, I might boost the recoil spring a few lbs. Good luck! We love ours.
 
400CORBON CONVERSIONS

ON MODERN 45ACP PISTOLS A DROP IN BARREL WILL USUALLY WORK JUST FINE.
ON SIG220'S THE UPDATED SIG RECOIL SPRING IS A GOOD IDEA. IF YOURS IS AN OLDER P220 CALL SIG FOR THEIR NEWER SPRING
ON 1911 PISTOLS IT'S A CRAP SHOOT ON WHETHER ANYTHING WILL FIT; NO TWO 1911 PISTOLS ARE EVER ALIKE.
