.40 Super gun conversion question

Hi all,
I am currently looking to a buy a .45 handgun and just read about the .40 super. I want to know what guns can handle this round and what company sells the barrels and recoil springs. I want to be able to do the conversion in the future if it isnt cost prohibitive. For any of you that dont know about this round it is able to push 135 grain bullet to 1800 fps out of a 4 or 5 in barrel. Talk about a good pig and deer hunting round.

JR, at Lonewolf Distributors, has .40 Super barrels for Glock 21's and Glock 30's. I had a threaded, compensated, Accu-Match .400 Cor-Bon barrel reamed to .40 Super. Fired about 100 rounds through it. The brass was expanding too much, so I sent the barrel back. The company that did the reaming opened up the chamber too much. They're replacing my barrel.

I also plan to shoot a few pigs with .40 Super this fall.

If you decide to use the Glock 21 or Glock 30, you'll probably have to use a Glock 21 10 rd. mag to get the .40 Super to feed right.

You may want to check out Triton Ammo's Homepage.

There is a link on the page to .40 Super info. Click on that and then there is some additional links at the bottom "Where to find".

If that page doesn't answer your questions give Triton a call @ 1-800-861-3362.
