I have a Sig P229 in .357 Sig and am in the market for a Kahr K9. Do I proceed as planned or get a .40 barrel for the Sig and a Kahr K40? I'll admit up front that I'm an idiot.
OK...you think your an idiot, do ya? The fact that you have a Sig 229 and you want a Kahr, an obvious UPGRADE, this proves you are definitely not a IDIOT. Get a .40 barrel for your Sig and get a K9...or a K40, they are both really good guns. Either way, you cant go wrong....Shoot well
I like the 357 sig better than the 40 myself stick with it. I don't care for the Kahr because they are a long pull dao. Its smooth but its more like a revolver than a good semi auto single action pull. Get a sig 239 in 357 or a Glock 33.
PAT
Keep the P229 in .357 SIG and get a KelTec P40, then buy the .357 SIG barrel. Total for both is around $300.00. The .357 SIG is a very sweet caliber. I like it as much as the .45 ACP (well, almost )
Get whatever will make you happier. IF that Kahr 9 will make you happy, buy it. If getting another 40 S&W pistol does it for, buy another!
Me, I'd get a 40 S&W barrel for you Sig, get a 9mm Kahr and w/ the money I saved by buying a barrel and not a gun, I'd buy some bulk ammo and spend more time at the range!
