How much does .40 s&w sell for in your area. I am in UT and
the prices range from 10.00 $ for 50 ea Am. Eagle tmj to 17.00$
for 20 ea Good Defensive jhps. Is there anywhere that sells
JHP's in bulk @ reasonable prices?
I'm in KS and the prices here are about the same. I pay about $12 for 50rd boxes of PMC FMJ/FP and $9.99 for Russian cheapo stuff. Last JHP I bought was a 20rd box of CorBon 135 JHP and it was $17.50 or so.
WalMart has some 50rd boxes of Winchester JHPs for $23, I haven't bought any but I believe that's what I saw it for.
About $14 for a box of American Eagle, around $12 for PMC here in VA...granted. I'm also on the west side, so gun shops are fairly spread out...damn supply and demand! Damn capitalism!
Lower Alabama: S&B 180 grain FMJ for $9.50 a box (single box of fifty) at Home Defense Arms in Dothan. I've also bought Winchester USAs for about the same price there.
Walmart is $10.96 for a box of 50 UMC 180 grain FMJ. So much for the large chain having the better prices.
You also get great conversations and a good cup of coffee at Home Defense.
(No, I don't work there nor am I related to the owners!)
ut83, You might try Sportsmans warehouse... The Ogden store has Federal eagle @ $10.99 bx/50. Fed. Classic 155gr H.P. @ 8.99 bx/20. Also 357Sig Speer Gold Dot 125gr @ $11.50 bx/20. Winchester USA 357Sig 125gr M.C. @ $13.50 bx/50. And Fed. Premium 125gr H.P. @ $25.50 bx/50. I think they have stores in Salt Lake too. Look 'em up. Good luck...
