Disclaimer:
I am in no way affiliated with, nor compensated by ProLoad. I am just a
satisfied customer.

After hearing good things on different sites regarding ProLoad ammo, I decided to try it for myself. I was very impressed. I purchased the 165gr Defense Load for testing on my SigPro .40. I shot 100+ rounds, and found it to be very accurate and smooth on the recoil.
Customer service was excellent, and the price includes free shipping. To add to it, I didn't have to pay tax, as the product was sold over state lines (call ProLoad for more info)

Take for example:

A box of 165gr JHP Tactical Defense load (20 p/box): $9.80 p/box (last I
checked)

Compare to purchasing Federal's 165gr JHP (20 p/box): $14.00 (avg price down here in Florida, even at Gun Shows, *plus* tax)

Has anyone else out there had good or bad experiences with this brand of
ammo?

BC,

I've used Proload for some time now, and I have always been satisfied with them. I have used their 9mm +P 124 gr., .40 S&W 135 gr., .40 S&W 165 gr., and .45 Auto 185 gr. All of the loads have been accurate and reliable for me. John Kopel (Proload's President) is a great guy to talk with, and always friendly... I always recommend their ammo when people ask.. I don't think that you can go wrong with them...

Two days after the ammo test mentioned above, I went ahead and ordered some more 165gr .40 Tactical Defense and Target ammo.

Everytime I've called, I have spoken with Mr. Kopel. Extremely courteous and definitely knows his share of guns and ammo! :)

Again, great customer service, and the ammo is worth every penny.

I concur. John Koppel and ProLoad are first rate and top drawer in the industry. I shoot all manner of ammo for making holes in paper, but only carry Proload for ccw.

You go John!

I'm kinda reviving an old thread here-sorry. The good words about Proload are good to hear-I live about 10 miles from them, will have to stop in to visit soon. I'm a newbe to the handgunning game, it's easy to miss out on a good thing in your own neighborhood :).

Just to add my .02 I agree! I mistakenly ordered a box of 45 Colt instead of ACP. I e-mailed Mr. Koppel offering to return it to exchange for the 45 ACP. He e-mailed back to say keep the 45 Colt and give it to a friend and he mailed me a box of 45 ACP free!

All the Best,
Bill Daniel

If I didn't make ammo I'd buy Pro Load.
