.40 caliber cartridge using 6.5G brass

More and more states are allowing 350 Legend, 450 BM and similar cartridges for hunting in otherwise shotgun only zones. This for me thinking about the need for a cartridge between the 350L and 450BM. Starline offers unformed Grendel brass. It has an 11.2mm diameter and 40mm length. This could be tapered from 11.2mm at the base to 11mm at the neck, have a 0.5mm wall thickness, and use a 10mm (.400") bullet. This seems to me like a perfect balance with more energy than the 350L and less recoil than the 450BM. Any thoughts?

Looks like I'm a hundred years behind the times. I've never heard of the .401 Winchester Self Loading. But it has the same ballistics I was imagining for this cartridge. A .40 caliber straight wall round using a 200gr bullet with 2000+ fps and 2000+ ft-lbs that's good for medium sized game inside 200yds.

There you go, now you just need to find a shooter condition Winchester 1907 (351WinSL) or 1910 (.401 Win SL) semi auto (assuming semis are legal) and ammo!
