3913 Trigger Play and Off-set Hammer?

After putting 200 more rounds, (300 total now), thru the new 3913 this weekend, I thoroughly cleaned it. After reassembling the field-stripped pistol, I noticed a small amount of play in the trigger before it began to pull that I don't recall feeling before. It seemed more prominent in the DA trigger than the SA but it was in both. Also, I noticed the hammer, (with a round in chamber and safetied), was off center a little - to the right not laying flush with the back unless the safety was removed. Again, I don't recall this from before either. Are both of these normal? Is this part of breaking in the new pistol? Did I reassemble it improperly or something?

By the way, I have learned how to hit with it now and REALLY like this gun.
Would recommend it to anyone.
 
The excess movement of the trigger is normal.
The off set of the hammer is also not uncommon.

The trigger in almost all auto pistols has some movement before the action actually starts to engage. This is commonly known as "take up".

Pistol hammers are also almost always a loose fit on the hammer pin and will have at least some side to side play.
