.380 Bullets

Speer, Federal, Remington, Winchester, Hornady, any main-line brand. There are others but those five should have something to suit you. I like Speer best, followed by Federal. Some like the heavier Remington. Good luck.

Kosta Zachos:

I'm afraid you'll have to be a bit more specific. Are you talking about assembled ammunition, or just the part that comes out the end of the barrel? Range ammo? Self Defense ammo?

-------------- Added: -------------

If you are talking about range ammo, I'd suggest using MagTech FMJ's -- good accuracy, decent price when ordered by the case from Midway USA.

For defense, I'd suggest using those same FMJ's if you have a short barrel. I've got Speer Gold Dots loaded in my Bersa .380. You might also look at the Hornady XTP's, Remington Golden Sabers, and the new CorBon DPX which is just now being released.

CorBon is not +P Corbon will tell you same thing .Their is no +P in 380 . SAMMI ? (or what ever their letters are) has never established any offical +P numbers.Like they have for 38spl,9mm,45acp. CorBon is a good SD round and if your pistol will work with it the Win 100 round box at Wal Mart for practice.

If you have that early run where CorBon marked +P. Keep as my be collectable They were marked that way by mistake in Corbon early years. New round 90grHP are 1050fps and 220ftlbs same as the old +P box Those numbers came from a PPK/S I understand.

"Why is this in the revolver forum??"

Good question.

Unless the original poster didn't think of it, doesn't know the difference, or really meant .38 instead of .380.

If the original poster meant .38 instead of .380, strike the suggestions about MagTech FMJ's -- that was intended for .380 Auto, doesn't apply to .38 Spl and I wouldn't suggest FMJ's for SD ammo in a .38 revolver.

I'm sure the mods will move it when they see it. In the mean time, I knew I wasn't goofy :p . Funny thing is, the box is marked +P, but the headstamp on the rounds isn't. Go figure! By the way, someone asked where to get it. I get it from J.D. Jones. You custom big bore guys and hand cannon fans know who I'm talking about, and he lives about a mile from me. (Man, you oughtta see HIS "office" !!) Anyhow, his shop is called SSK Industries, phone 740-264-0176.
