.380 blowback pistol SA trigger- is 3.5lbs too light?

Hello All,

I want to do some tuning to improve my ea380 .380 pistol.

For those unfamiliar- SA semi-auto that borrows features from Beretta 34/35, with some tweaks.

My question is regarding how light of a trigger is too light for a .380 blowback pistol?

I like my SA pistols to be between 3.5-4lbs, instead of 6-7. However, smooth pull with crisp break is more important that ultimate lightness.

Is 3.5 too light?

I am thinking of the fact the slide slams both directions without a delay to the recoil, unlike a tipping/pivoting barrel- like 1911s, BHPs, Sigs, most Glocks, etc.

I have 22s down to 2.5 lbs and they are fine, but my center fire I keep above 3lbs.

Any thoughts to share? I mean, the ones that ARE helpful- not about your favorite actress or whatever.;)
