I shot a ParaOrdnance in 38 super. Same visit shot PO in 45, 40, 357 sig.
Friend told me that 38 super is only used in Mexico because of a strange law there that requires civilians MUST use ammo different than any LEO or military.
Looks like a really cool round!
I swipe one of every round I come accross that I don't have and of course pocketed one of these. I have a box of these and it is much easier to explain various size cartridges if you have the physical shells in front of you.
It looks like a 9mm with just over 1/8" longer case (powder). Sounds like an ideal round to me. Now you've done it! I was thinking of some day getting a 9mm and now I wonder if a 38 super would be better.
Anyone know how the ballistics, pressure, recoil compare between 9mm, 38 super, 40 S&W? I'm against 40, but 38 super might be the ticket?
