Hello everyone,

Out of the two (.38 spec./.44 spec.), which tends to have the better accuracy?

Thanks,

ASG

Depends on the shooter and load. The 44 Spl is probably more inherently accurate, all things considered, due to greater mass (momentum) of the bullets.

The 38 Special has been the preeminent center fire target load (especially in the 148 WC), for a good part of the 20th. Century. Paired with the great Colt & Smith & Wesson target revolvers of the time, it's still hard to beat.

that's only in the states, on the international scene the .32 long rules out to 50m...that's why smith used to make a k-22, k-32 and k-38

remember

That all things being equal...which they're not....:D

The 44 makes a much larger hole! If those kind of things are important to you....
