.375 Ruger on Mauser Mark X Action

I have a ~20 yr old commerical magnum Interarms Mark X 98 Mauser Action that was made in the former Yugoslavia. I thinking of putting a douglas stainless steel barrel chambered for the .375 Ruger on it.

Has anyone out there done this with this particular action? Will the magazine or other parts of the rifle create an issue with this cartridge?

I plan to use handloads and do not plan on trying to duplicate factory velocity. This is rifle caliber that I want, but really do not need. Plan to shoot it offhand and will likely use iron sights. Might even go hog hunting with it.
 
The action itself is strong enough, but you would have to have a gunsmith look at it to see if the feed rails need to be reshaped or opened up.

It has been sitting in its box for about 20 years with a gunsmith and only used for reference measurements and other then some scrapes and handling marks is like new.

The part about the feed rails could be an issue. I do have some spare military barrels and could check to see what calibers it will feed. I can see if the front end of cartridge will at least enter an 8 mm chamber.

I just built one out of a M70 that began life as a 7mm Rem Mag. If yours has the magnum bolt face already there shouldn't be any need to modify the action for feeding. If it is a standard bolt face you probably will have to have the feed rails opened like previously stated, along with the bolt face. Should make a great rifle though!
