Is anyone reloading for this powerful cartridge?

I'll be taking it moose hunting in Canada next year and am working up various loads for both accuracy and penetration.

What need did it fulfill? Looking at it and reading about it, I can't see where it does something better than something else already out there. I have a Bellm chambered .357max on my Browning Low Wall and it's a quality piece of work but I think this is more of a case where someone wanted their name on a cartridge. Lots of that going around the last few years....Wild West Guns, Turnbull, etc. It's kind of like reinventing the wheel. It just makes it more difficult to use existing components. I don't see where the extra work is worth it.

The Bellm site only talks about Contenders and Encores. No rifles. Any no mention of barrel lengths anywhere.
Unless you have it chambered in one of the TC rifles, you won't be hunting with it, in Canada. No hunting with handguns of any kind here. You can't even bring one in unless you have our restricted licence and are attending a match.

"...reinventing the wheel..." Lotta that in Firearm Land. Looks like another answer to an unasked question to me too. Kind of anemic vs "powerful" compared to other .35's. At least out of a Contender/Encore.

My friends and I have killed 25 Canadian moose with the Remington 7mm Magnum. Any cartridge in the 30-06 class is adequate for moose. The 338 or the 9.3 X 62 are more than enough. Sorry to get off topic, but if you are going to hunt open logging, you need something flat shooting enough for distances out to 400 yards. I know nothing about your cartridge.
