Does anyone make a carbine in 357Sig or 10mm? It seems to me that these two cartridges would jump a lot more in popularity if they did. As nice as 10mm is for handgun hunting, can you imagine launching it from an 18" tube?

HK makes a 10mm MP5.

I know HK makes a 10mm MP5 that takes straight magazines. I believe the FBI had an initial order for a lot of those 10mm's. I don't know if they still have them or not.

I am not a marketing manager, but this sounds like a job for Kel-Tec. Their Sub-9 doesn't seem to be setting the world on fire. Maybe if it was significantly more powerful than those "other" 9mm carbines...

Is there a semi-auto MP-5 that people without Class III can own?

The MechTech Mr. Beer mentioned was the first to come to my mind when I read the topic. I've fired them in both .45 ACP and .400 Corbon and they are suprisingly accurate. Cost for the 1911 version upper from Dillon Precision is $315. Add you lower and away you go.

http://www.Tromix.com also offers AR15 uppers in 10mm but the cost is considerably higher. I looked at them in Tulsa at the big show and the quality is out standing.
