.357Mag Wheel gun question

I don't know much about revolvers, but for some reason, I think I got bit by the wheel gun bug. So now I'm looking at them.

I had a question, I think a long time ago, in a planet far far away, someone told me that if I get a .357Mag, I can shoot cheaper 38 Specials out of them? Or was it .380's? I don't remember... Someone help?
