I bought my Ruger GP-100 with a 4" stainless, fully lugged barrel used but in the box with all of the original paperwork for $350. With the exception of an afternoon spent with a friend who owned a Colt Python, I've never shot a better revolver in .357. Great factory grip, crisp but friendly recoil, excellent adjustable sights, and accurate. What else does a revolver need?
(Of course if I had an extra $500 I'd see if I could trade the Ruger for the Python... it's in a class of it's own...)
