I second that. or even a medium framed 3" but a 2.5" or less usually requires some experience shooting to grasp. You will be better with the shorter barrels after practicing first with the longer ones. that's been my experience.quote by blume357" I would stongly suggest

No they don't interchange easily without the right tools and know-how. If you want a revolver that you can easily change the barrel to different lengths and configurations then look at the Dan Wessons.Is it possible to buy a 2 1/2" Python and a 4" or 6" barrel? Are they easily interchanged?
