Folks!

Its here ---I did it ! Purchased a Used (LEO) 4in bbl Smith & Wesson .357 Mag - 6 shot revolver----Took it to the range and shot approx 400 rds over two days....ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS !!!

Dare I say I love this baby more'n I do my girlfriend?

Congrats on your new 686! I've got a nearly identical 586 and shoot it more confidantly than all my others, with the possible exception of my old Model 10 with it's 5-inch barrel.
There's something about medium frame revolvers that inspires confidence when shooting. I prefer revolver triggers to Semi-Autos. I feel more in control being able to FEEL the hammer being cocked and getting a feel for juuust the moment when the hammer's going to fall. Something one can't develop with a Semi-Auto.
If more first time shooters started with Revolvers..
