357 Mag Upper

I see Ruger just announced the bolt action 77/357 got me thinking ... anyone out there with a 357 upper - I see some old threads about this - any new info? Any reason why a 357 upper is not possible? Anyone doing custom work and could build one?

its entirely possible. just time consuming and expensive. ive been searching this alot, and i see an increasing demand for it. im currently experimenting with converting a PSL-54 to 357mag... havent started, still in the planning stage, but i think itll be easier and cheaper than an AR upper...
 
very possible. big issue is mags. not many people who want an AR platform would be happy with 8-10 round mags and since it's a rimmed cartridge anything bigger than that becomes more of a challenge. still possible but I think a semi-auto .357 mag would sell better in a wood stock. I would like either one.
