.357 Mag 125gr RN Bayou Bullet (coated). Max OAL OK?

Just would like to get some input. I'm loading .357 mag 125gr Round Nose Hi-Tek coated (red) bullets and they are right at max OAL (1.590"). Not sure why I ended up this long as I've made these before but at 1.575".

They fit in the cylinder holes with room to spare. Unless they jump the crimp (I think my crimp is good...) they are well within the length of my cylinder. I am loading these over 5.6gr of Universal. Is the OAL a big deal? If it was excessively short I'd worry. But a bit long, fits the cylinder, not close to load max from my "Load Book" data and visually look fine, is this a big deal? Thanks!

You're fine. Doesn't matter if it's a jacketed or cast.
SAAMI MAX OAL for any .357 is 1.590" 1.405" is the minimum OAL.
The only time the OAL matters is if and when it's far too long and the bullet jams the cylinder. Or you're loading hot(which 5.6 of Universal is not. It's a mid range load.) and the crimp is insufficient.

No big deal. 1.59 fits the cylinder as long as the crimp holds the bullets in the cylinder during recoil.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I expected. Long mostly doesn't bother me (except jams...) it's too short that sometimes gives me pause.

I just gotta figure why/how it got that long after I've been loading similar/same at a bit shorter (1.575") for a while.
