I see that magtech and Fiocchi runs less expensive than Winchester and Rmmington. Any bad words for the 2 less expensive? Always looking for a bargain and b4 I order would like some thoughts

Fiocchi is excellent ammo, I use it in 9mm Mak, 9mm Luger, .40S&W and .45ACP.
It is usually bit hotter than equivalent american loading, accurate and reliable.

Fiocchi is excellent ammo, and the brass lasts a LONG time when reloading it.

My only problem with it is that in some calibers, especially .32 ACP and .32 S&W Long, the powder smoke positively REEKS. It's awful.

Magtech is excellent. It's accurate and relatively clean and usually less expensive than comparable ammo. I use it whenever I can get my hands on it.

I have used lots of Magtech in .357 and its always done well for me. I've only used Fiocchi in 9mm but I had no problems with it either.

In the past year I've used

357
100 Fiocchi ( CBC brass if in remember )

200 Magtech ( Blazer brass )

38
100 Fiocchi

400 Magtech

All seem to shoot well. If there was any difference, it was the Fiocchi was a bit dirty but in reality cleanup was no different than anyother ammo I've used.

What is the intended use, self defense, hunting, or paper punching? Just about any .357 will give a large report and impressive flash. They’ll all punch the same size hole in a paper target and at about the same place inside 15 yards.

So for target shooting, any one will do. For hunting and especially self-defense, I’d go with a round that had published data on terminal performance. Expansion and weight retention mean nothing to a paper target and almost everything to living, breathing creatures.

You make a good point Sport45. I have used the MagTech for target shooting/paper punching only. I have no Chrono, so do not know any velocity info.
