I have been trying to find out some info. on the .35 cal. Remmington rifle called the Game Master, model 141.
It is a pump action. Any info. about ammo availibility,
decade of manufacture or best use for the rifle are
appreciated.

I have a Remington Model 14 in .35 Remington. The Model 14 was manufactured from 1912 to 1936, and was replaced by the Model 141 starting in 1937. The difference between the two models was in the stock design. The magazine tube was designed to hold cartridges with pointed bullets by virtue of a spiral groove pressed around the tube. The shells rest in the magazine with the bullet end of the cartridges tipped so they can't contact the primers of the cartridges laying ahead.Production of the Model 141 ended in 1951. Personally I think it is the neatest pump rifle ever made, and its made out forged and milled steel. THey handle like shotguns and are really smooth in operation.

IIRC

35 Remington was a rimless cartridge in a series 25, 30, 32, and 35 Remington, meant to compete with the Winchester 25-35, 30-30, and 32 Special lever gun ctgs. The only survivor of the Remington line is the 35, which you have. You should be able to pick up the ammo anywhere 30-30 is sold as Marlin still chambers rifles for it and it is a popular deer hunting cartridge. HTH
