Does anybody know of a source for leadfree, nonlead bullets for the .348 Winchester. Barnes have been out of production forever, and are rare now. Any help appreciated.
Rummage around here. http://www.leadfreehunting.com/buynow/
However, there seems to be a whole lot of nothing, loaded ammo included, for the .348. Barnes does even list a .348" solid copper bullet. Only .348" they show is an "Original" and those are not lead free.
Know anybody who owns or works in a machine shop? Ask 'em to turn some copper for you.
You could try sizing down a .451/.452 copper bullet.
Banded would be better.
And I don't think you'd get more than 0.001" at a time, using a Lee die in a reloading press.
But it could be an option.
