Had a fellow say the other day,that a survey said that 34 percent of
the United States population owned a gun. He say he was surprize, he thought it would have been higher.
I'm thinking that if anyone called me up and asked if I had a gun I would
tell them no!
Where would their get they figures? Do they have access to the 4473?
No, I don't know who did the survery.
Just throwing this out to see what the forum's thought was.
Any response or reply appreciated.
 
IIRC, that 34% was a Chicago-company based survey.
I would better trust Gallup:

That said... would you affirmatively answer the question by an anonymous poll-taker
in these days of demonized weapons owners? For that reason alone I suspect the number is much
(much) higher than even Gallup indicates.
