Ok guys, I have a P-14 action and plan to turn it into a mid-level magnum. Any thoughts on which is best, the 338 Lapua or the 358 Shooting Times Alaskan? The 338 Lapua is a 416 Rigby case necked down. The 358 STA is a 8mm Remington Case necked up. I have already converted a P-14 action to 416 Rigby. I like the idea of a long range shooter with some terminal authority. Alright, let the opinions flow.
