Out of the two, what one would you picked if that was the only choice you had?..
Hmm let's narrow it down a little,it would have to be the size of a Bersa..No smaller or no bigger..

Yeah, in a big heavy chunk of metal like the Bersa, might as well take the .380acp.

The .32 acp is at it's best in the flat ultralight Keltec P-32 at 6.6 oz.

My Russian Makarov came in .380, and it works fine but weighs about 26 oz, so recoil is not a factor.

A Bersa is about the size of a Walther PP and for $265.00 I would go with the Walther in 32acp. I have never had a stoppage with any of my Walther PP 32acps. The best of the 32acps is supposed to perform with the 380acps. I should add I have never lost a dime when I sold any of the Walthers I have owned. Regards, Richard.

I'll place my vote for the .380. I have and do carry a Bersa Md#83A. IMHO it's a good little gun and I only paid $130 for it used LNIB. It shoots well and I have had no malfunctions with it. ;) I like it :)

I would go for the .380 just because it is a larger round. I carry one at times myself but use the hi-performance type ammo. I also would like to have the PP .32 just because I dont have one but would still carry my .380 PPK/S. :)

9mm kurtz. No contest!!! :)

If you're talking about a Bersa-sized pistol, then .380 it is. And remember, about a half-dozen new or improved .380 loads have appeared on the scene since M&S made their claim about .32 Silvertip being as good as .380 Silvertip. 7.65 Browning seems to be at its best these days in bitty pocket pistols like my Tomcat or the P-32.

10mm: It's not the size of the Dawg in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog!

Someone mentioned the Kel-Tec P-32, but if you're talking about "Bersa Sized" I'd take a good hard look at the Kel-Tec P-11. Same sized gun, with 10+1 rounds of 9mm. If they'd made it a few years ago, I might not have my PPK.

Regardless, of the two, I'd take the .380 over the .32. Like my learned colleagues above said, there's no point in carrying a smaller round if the gun will be the same size (and hold the same amount of ammo).

Depends! I have both a NAA guardian (.32)and a PPK/S (.380) (German).

Round for round the .380 wins! But it's never that simple.

I carry my Guardian 95% of the time as it disapers in my back pocket! I almost never carry my PPK/S (Ironicaly i did today, as it's raining and i can wear a light jacket).

Anything larger than a Guardian or a P-32 is to big and heavy for most pockets, so IWB is the best choice. so now you must wear a jacket or have your shirt un-tucked. not always possible/proper. So find a gun that fits your carry style and then worry about caliber.

I have owned/own many pistols for carry and how i dress or what my activity is for the day decides what to carry.

I'll even carry a NAA Mini in 22LR if I'm wearing shorts or what. Yet, i'd perfer to carry my 1911 or P99.

Good luck

According to Sanow, the .32 has a better one stop shot average then the .380 fwiw. .380 ammo is cheaper and easier to find. I shoot and carry them both and like them both.

I agree, why not own both, the more guns the better. But for daily carry, nothing out of the 20 something pocket pistols, that I own, come close to my Kel-Tec P-32, as far as geting carried goes. It wins hands down, it gets dropped in a pocket in my Ken Campbell pocket hoslter while the others languish in the gun safe.

9x17! The .32 is a true joy to shoot out of a Bersa-sized pistol - very accurate and only just enough recoil to make it fun - but (assuming it's the only choice I had) I'd want the considerably greater (though nonetheless borderline) oomph provided by the fatter round.

Although you would almost certainly get an extra round of .32 . . . still, no contest on which I'd rather have covering my heinie.
