.32ACP Cor-Bon

Last night I removed the .32ACP Cor-Bons from my Guardian after reading about the "Tomcat Incident". I had no desire to damage my pistol. However, I was just contacted by Sandy Chisolm of North Americam Arms. He states that NAA's research has shown Guardians to be safe with the Cor-Bon ammo. (I almost said +P, but I've never seen that on a .32 case.) So, the C-B's are going back in. I haven't heard from Kel-Tec yet, but it seems to me that not being "blow-back" operated, my P-32 should even be more safe from ammo related problems.
I don't know about Tomcats. Every time I make up my mind that I don't want to add a Tomcat to my pocket pistol collection, Tamara leaves a post that makes me want one. (Thanks, Tam! :)) Perhaps the new titanium version is just the ticket. I've inspected my wife's Taurus Total Titanium +P .38 Special for wear and as much as she's practiced, it still looks brand new.
I'll post what Kel-Tec tells me. (Unless someone already knows.)

I've put about 250 rounds of CORBON 32s thru my Seecamps and haven't had a problem. I think it's probably the most fragile of the 32s on the market as far as strength goes.

The manual that came with my wife's P32 says it will take +P ammo, but not a steady diet of it. The Cor-Bon .32s are not labeled +P, though they're the hottest standard stuff. Her P32 does fine with them, I don't think you'll have a problem with Cor-Bons in a P32.

Captain!!

My Seecamp will only work with TWO brands, Silvertips and Gold Dots. I tried to chamber a Hydra-Shok and it jammed on the FIRST TRY. Not doubting your word, because sometimes things like this just happen, however I'm quite curious now. Would you mind if I asked you some questions? (Man! It's hard to type wih two broken fingers!)
1) Is your Seecamp a "pre CNC" model? (Ser. # from 31000 on.)
2) Do you use the new, longer C-B .32ACP?

I know a few other guys wih Seecamps and NOBODY can use anything but Silvertips or Gold Dots.

Anxiously awaiting your reply,

(I tried to post this earlier, but all this crapola on my left hand must have hit some button which deleted my post. If I break any more fingers, I'll have to learn to type with my toes!)

Hello;

about 6 months ago I was looking for high performance ammo for my P-32. I was at a gun show and picked up a package of RBCD Performance Plus. The .32's are 37 gr TF/SP rated at 1815 fps MV, and 271 flbs. At 15 yards its 1633 fps, and 219 flbs.
I fired two rounds which worked fine. I haven't contacted the company about excessive chamber pressures though, maybe I should do that. Anybody have info ? thanks

thanks again

...as I recall...

...the RBCD product is standard pressure stuff.

BTW - you need to shoot a leeeeetle more than 2 rounds to assure reliability.
