I have a set of 32 S&W Long / Colt New Police dies. My question is can i reload 327 mag cartridges with them or are they too small?

Many die brands do as you are asking, but some don't. Call your die's maker and ask. I suspect the ones that fail to handle all the same case diameter revolver cartridges just run out of adjustment range before accommodating the longer magnum cartridges.

You certainly won't be doing any full length resizing.

Depending on how hot your loads are you my run into problem pushing your reloads into the cylinder the next time around because of only being able to neck size your loads.

I would buy the right set of dies for my own convenience.

But Uncle Nick is right about the dies, depending on the mfg, it can be done.

thanks guys for the info. I have a set of Lee dies, and will check with the company on whether I can use them on the .327 fed mag. IN the process of looking for a good source of hard lead cast bullets.

IN the process of looking for a good source of hard lead cast bullets.

I had some problems chambering Missouris and Silver State, neither really designed for magnum length 327, so I went to Penn Bullets 95 gr RNFP, which has a bit different ogive. None of them has given me the slightest lead fouling with a pretty robust 12 grains of AA#9. I am using up the other brands of 100 gr bullets with 32 H&R Magnum loading, on which they work well.
