32 cal.in the real world

Pocket 32's are popular but does anyone have any real-world experience in trying to stop a BG with one?

Yes. It was actually with a 25. It did a dandy of a job. The Bear took off like a bat out of hell when he heard it. It's not the caliber most of the time, it's the noise and the presense of the gun that scares them. I don't know of very many criminals who will look down any gun and say, "Hey, that's only a 32!" I'm sure somebody will bring up the 'drug crazed attacker' scenario. Let me tell you, not even a 357 will stop somebody sometimes.

I'd personally like to see the .32 necked down to .22 caliber with a good hollow-point in it.

Thomas Jefferson made us free.
John Browning made us equal.

Without Browning, we might not know about the other two...

Personally, I hope I never find out if my Keltec P32 will stop a bad guy, but if the need arises, it'll be way better than no gun.

I'm with Johnwill. The P-32 (andother pocket-guns) are made for times when you cannot carry anything else. At that point, how can you qustion it's capabilities, since you don't have a choice? It's certainly better than yelling for help and not getting any.

I don't care what kind of fairy powder you are stuffing in your ears, 3 or 4 .32 slugs rattling around in the ole brain pan will cause you to cease and desist all hostile actions.
