.308 reamer: standard vs Palma?

I have a .308 reamer that I just did an Adams and Bennet fluted stainless steel barrel.

When I compare the reamer dimentions with the ammo, it is a loose fit.

The Palma reamer [I don't have] looks like a tight fit for the ammo.

How big a difference in accuracy would this make?

Depends

Clark,
on what the chamber dimensions are, and how tight the neck is, and how far off the lands the two reamers are.
I would suspect the Palma would have been the better of the two, as far as accuracy potential.
It, however could lead to a lack of reliability with boxed factory ammo.
The dimensions may be so much closer, that factory ammo would not chamber ...........possible, but not probable.
Generally speaking, tighter necks, and shorter jumps are conducive to best accuracy..........GENERALLY.
There are calibers, and rifles that do just the opposite..but they are the exception ,and not the rule.
