In a recent post I reported a problem extracting fired cases from my Navy Arms .308 Enfield.I was firing Portugese milsurp ammo.Today I tried some Winchester 150gr.soft points and had no problems. One or two rounds were a bit sticky to get out but otherwise everything was good.Accuracy was fine.I had gotten some case dimensions from a site on the net and the Portugese ammo measured .005" undersize at the bottom of the case.I haven`t had a chance to compare the Winchester cases to the milsurp yet.

Had similar problem with #7 Gibbs

Similar trouble with a 'new' #7 in .308 from Gibbs. Shot the gun and had to put the cleaning rod down the barrel and tap out the case. Ended up having to carefully sand the inside of the chamber to remove a burr. Removed the bolt, taped emery cloth to a section of cleaning rod, and sanded off the burr.
