Is Hirtenberger boxer primed ammo corrosive? I just bought some and the sales man said it was non corrosive but in all the mags (shotgun news) it does not say either way. Anyone know for sure? Is this ammo any good?

I'm not totally certain on this, but it's been my understanding that all boxer-primed and some of the berdan-primed is non-corrosive.

Some of the berdan is corrosive, so it's best to assume it all is to be safe.

Cleaning your rifle after every shooting session, no matter how few bullets are expended, is always the safest way to fight corrosion.
 
I was told by AIMSURPLUS that the Hirt is Non-Corrosive ... it groups nicely out of all my .308's
