I picked up some Barnes 130gr TSX and TTSX. Will be used in a 18.5" Rem 700.
Any powder/ load suggestions for it? No paper punching. Will be a 250 yard and under hunting round for deer. thanks.
Ramshot TAC is a good powder for that bullet. I've also used Varget. I won't state the powder charge but 3150 fps is easy from a 22" barrel. I'm betting at least 3000 fps, maybe 3100 fps from your shorter barrel. Near 3300 fps is possible with the right powder. The TTSX is the one you want to hunt with.
