What current cartridges can be re-worked to form .303 British?
Maybe a .444 Marlin or 30-30 Winchester?

And an interesting name for what would likely be about .40 caliber.Your title says 393 British. For a second I thought that was an Aussie or Canadian Wildcat.
303 British will still be the easiest brass to find . Check new and once fired .
I did see a you-tube video that claimed he was making 303 British from 7.62 X 54R ...
