.300 Whisper

Does anybody besides Cor-Bon load .300 Whisper? This cartridge fascinates me for some reason. (It's the uniqueness factor...the same reason .400 Cor-Bon has me intrigued).

I know, I know. Paying $16.00 per 20 rounds of ammo that basically the ballistic equivalent to 7.62x39 (when in supersonic form) is silly, but I'm weird like that.

Personally, I think a 10" barreled Colt Commando in .300 Whisper, or better yet, a ZM LR-300 in .300 Whisper would be an excellent CQB weapon.

I'm not sure if anyones loading 300 Whisper.

I thought about a 300 Whisper upper for my AR, but the thought of putting all that work into wildcat brass and slinging it across the range has kept me from it. I've gone the other route and added a 7.62X39 upper that eats Wolf ammo.

Got a couple boxes of Cor-Bon 220gr .300 Whisper right here.

That, plus heavy Lilja barrel threaded for KDF brake, plus Turkish Mauser that didn't headspace gave me an idea...

Same thought has been bouncing around in my head for a couple of years - some other project keeps getting in the way (still haven't figured out the perfect load for the 22 Hornet T\C bbl yet, or the 22-250 Ruger #1, or ..............). Would get the SSk T\C bbl but lust after a suppressed AR upper - thats what JD Jones designed it for origionally. Supposed to be unnaturally accurate.
