300 RUM load help.

Been through my list of data I have and can't find any data on using a 200 grain Hornady ELD-X and IMR 7828SSC. I've been loading 185 grain Berger VLD's over 80 Grains of 7828ssc with great one hole three shot groups at 100 yards from sand bags. The gun is a custom Remington 700 Sendero with a 26" hart barrel and radial brake.

Not much data out yet on hornadys new bullets. I do know a 200 grain nosler accubond has a starting of 77gr and max of 82. That should give you a good starting point anyway.

When all else fails, contact Hornady. They will be glad to offer some suggestions. I have never been ignored when contacting a powder or bullet manufacturer with a question concerning their products.

You do not need bullet specific data. The 200 grain IMR7828(IMR7828SSC is the same thing) data on Hodgdon's site will be fine. So will any other 200 grain data.
Hodgdon's velocities will be a bit lower due to them using a 24" barrel. Velocity isn't as important as accuracy anyway.

I wasn't concerned with specific bullet data, my issue was I couldn't find any data in my books that show a 200 gr bullet using the SSC version of 7828. I found several loads using the same bullet that reflected .5-.6 of a grain between the SSC and standard powders. I guess I'm saying the two powders do not interchange.
