in my hunters education coruse i took a few years back, one of the instructors , while in the safety portion of the class. told a story about some one he knew who basicly destroyed 3 remington shotguns, the 1st 2 remington replaced under warranty the last one they said NO.

shotgun number 1.

he loaded a 20 gauge shell into the breech a 12 gauge, and i guess for got about it, u can probably guess what happened.

shotgun 2.

got dirt in the end of the muzzle and decided to shoot it out.

Shotgun 3. went fishing.

stuck the end of the muzzle into the water to shoot a fish.

even i know better than that!!! i guess i'm just an old poor boy, but i always wanted to pamper and take care of my guns, no matter what they cost me.

More like a Dumb a$$ that shouldn't own any firearm.

Please stay clear of people like that. A couple of month's ago while standing at the firing line of a Turkey Shoot, I saw a guy rest his barrel on the ground. I was about 20ft from him and I brought it to the attention of the shooter beside me.
We just steped back from the firing line and waited for him to shoot. No ill effect's happened as the ground was dry and hard, but this is a BAD habbit. He also had younger shooter's with him.

Bingo! THis guy will eventually hurt himself or someone else. Then of course he/his family will look to sue the dealer / Remington for supplying him with new guns after he obviously proved he was incompetant.

on the 3rd one, the fishing experament go wrong, remington refuse to trade out the shotgun under warrenty which they did with the 1st 2.
