Hey all, hope everyone's having a good on. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the 3 dot sights on the mossy 590a1 model #52682? How accurate are they? I couldn't find any pics of them but I'm assuming they're similar to the 3 dot system on handguns. How are they compared to the ghost rings? Just curious and thanks for the help, spy

I don't know. However, those look like the sights off the slug gun. You should be able to find one of those at your local wally or gun store. Obviously, the sight radius isn't too long.

Personally, I'd MUCH rather have the ghost ring, preferably with a tritium/fiberoptic front sight.

I read an article that Mossy made the 3 dot 590A1s for the NYPD. The 3 dots were supposed to duplicate the sighting system on their Glocks to make the transition easier.

The article went on to say that the only difference between the civvie version and the NYPD version is the barrel length, 18" vs 14".
